Project Milestones

Current Progress

• The I-15 Corridor Improvement Project started in April 2008 with the Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Phase.


• The first round of Public Information Meetings were conducted in Spring 2009.


• Mapping and surveys are complete.


• Traffic forecasting is complete for the I-15 mainline and interchanges.


• The project team is actively coordinating with interchange projects at:
  
  • Cajalco Road
  • Magnolia Avenue
  • Central Avenue (SR-74)
  • Railroad Canyon Road
  • Murrieta Hot Springs Road
  
  
• Technical studies are ongoing.


• Environmental approval is expected by Summer 2012.
